CASTING OFF
In an interview with Joshua DuBois, outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder opens up about his opponents, says what he considers to be his "signature achievement," and explains he's not done yet. "I don't just want to give speeches."

Seeking to make a deal with Iran, the U.S. is now reportedly willing to soften demands regarding the country's uranium-enrichment program. A new proposal would allow Iran to keep almost half of its project intact while putting in place new obstacles to its potential use for nuclear weapons. The new approach comes after little progress has been made in the months of negotiations between Iran and other world powers. The U.S. has said it wants no more than 1,500 centrifuges operating, while Iran has insisted it be able to run at least its current 9,400 machines. The new U.S. offer would meet the Iranians almost halfway on that number.

The 100 number, Comey explained, included the 88 or so Americans who have been killed or arrested, or traveled or attempted to travel to join the militants. While Comey has clarified his remarks, other administration officials' numbers have not come with that clarification, even in recent weeks.
