BREAKING NEWS: Wall Street Poised to Zoom Higher; Dow Futures Soar 250

Stock-index futures are pointing to a sharply higher open for Wall Street after last week's rout as traders cheered record retail sales during Thanksgiving weekend and reports European leaders are making headway on a plan to stem the region's debt crisis. With the opening bell still more than an hour away, Dow futures are up 250 points, or 2.2%, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures are pointing to bigger gains on a percent basis.
