BREAKING NEWS: IBM Posts Mixed 4Q Results, Shares Advance

IBM earned $4.71 a share in the fourth quarter, on sales of $29.5 billion. Analysts were looking for Big Blue to earn $4.62 a share on revenue of $29.7 billion. The stock is edging higher in late trading.
