Al Qaeda Plotters in Syria 'Went Dark,' U.S. Spies Say Americans have only recently learned of the Khorasan Group that the U.S. bombed in Syria this week, but intelligence officials had been tracking the terrorist cell's plot to attack European and American airplanes since summer. Eli Lake reports that as it got closer to the impending attack, the Khorasan Group "shut it down and went dark," in the words of one official. With its cadre of seasoned al Qaeda operatives, the Khorasan Group may be a bigger threat to the U.S. than ISIS. Read it at The Daily Beast CONNECTED 2. Man Charged For Abducting UVA Student Jesse Matthew Jr. has been charged with the abduction of missing UVA student Hannah Graham, according to reports on Tuesday. "We've reached that point that the commonwealth thought we had sufficient probable cause for an arrest warrant," Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo said. Police recently retrieved more evidence from Matthew's apartment during a second sweep, but did not reveal their connection to Graham's disappearance. Matthew, a patient technician at the University of Virginia Medical Center, has been a suspect in the case since being identified as the last person seen with Graham, at a restaurant in the early hours of Sept. 13. Authorities have yet to detain Matthew or locate the whereabouts of Graham. Read it at ABC News INTERNET FAIL 3. Nude Emma Watson Photo Threat a Hoax The threatened nude Emma Watson photo leak was actually just a hoax to create publicity to shut down the website 4Chan. Rantic Marketing was behind EmmaYouAreNext.com, which threatened to release naked photos of the 24-year-old actress. The site threatened to post the photos on Saturday at 12 a.m. ET. However, by Wednesday, the site pushed visitors to Rantic Marketing's homepage, which has an open letter to President Obama asking that 4Chan be shut down. 4Chan has been linked to other nude celebrity photo leaks. Rantic Marketing claims to have been hired by celebrities to push for the 4Chan shutdown and for Internet censorship. A Reddit user identified that EmmaYouAreNext.com is hosted by a common server as FoxWeekly.com, which, in its former name of Swenzy, was linked to the 2013 Family Guy Boston bombing Internet hoax.
